Company Profile

RDS Engineering was originally founded in 1994 to provide project engineering support to the food processing/packaging industry in and around Battle Creek, Michigan.  We've since grown to a staff of 17 Engineers and 12 Designers, Technicians and Support Staff with an average of 25 years experience.

In addition to food processors and packagers, our clients now include manufacturers of food ingredients, building products, structural steel, automotive parts, aerospace components and others.

Many of our projects involve improving the performance (efficiency, quality, safety) of existing processes and facilities.  We also develop new processes and facilities to bring new products into production.

We deliver the greatest value for our clients when we are able to get involved early in a project, before decisions limiting future options have been made.  For example, our preliminary engineering services help clients determine the most cost effective way to meet their needs, support capital budget decisions with meaningful budget and schedule information, and enable our clients to obtain competitive bids for their designed solutions.
